Grafted Cactus, Available in 3 colours.
A grafted cactus refers to a cactus plant that has a brightly coloured mutant variation of cactus sitting on top of a standard (rootstock) cactus plant. As the brightly coloured mutant variation of cactus cannot photosynthesize, they depend on the cactus plant they are grafted onto to photosynthesize and provide enough nutrients for both to survive. They like warmth and partial sunlight, so a window sill is a perfect location to grow yours.
Sunlight needed: Partial sunlight.
Water them sparingly, only when the soil is dry. Water the media thoroughly and then let it drain. Do not water daily, and do not wet the plant (do not spray).
Keep the plant in good health by applying slow release fertilizer or diluted liquid fertilizer about once a month.
Soil for Cactus
Cactus should be grown in cactus & succulent soil mix. Make or buy a cactus & succulent pre-mix that include sand, perlite, expanded clay and other ingredients. A suitable soil for cacti needs to provide good drainage (not be waterlogged), hold moisture, and give roots room to grow.
